Program Overview

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) was created in response to the HIV crisis in the late 1980s, providing crucial medication assistance to low-income individuals living with HIV (PLHIV) across the United States under the Ryan White CARE Act. The Colorado State Drug Assistance Program (SDAP) serves as Colorado's ADAP, offering medication access and financial assistance for medical costs and insurance premiums to PLHIV at or below 500% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
